Jane Elizabeth (Coke) Digby (1807-1881) was a scandalous member of nobility, having many lovers, husbands, and children. One of her affairs in 1830 led to her divorce from Edward Law, 2nd Baron of Ellenborough, through an act in parliament. After her scandalous life, Digby moved to Syria and married a wealthy Sheik, remaining with him until her death in 1881.
