Commemorates the involvement of The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) & Special Branch (SB) in the counter-insurgency operations during the 1960's and 1970's.

The Acorn represents the call sign "Acorn" which was used by Intelligence operatives.

This plaque was professionally refurbished c.2007

One of a series of plaques issued to mark the involvement of the British South Africa Police in the Rhodesian brush war on the 1970's.
