The British South Africa Police of Rhodesia were one of the worlds greatest Police Forces. Established in 1890 until 1980 they helped forge the new land, maintained the peace and dispensed justice evenly throughout those years.

TIn 1893 they were at the fore front of Matabele War and the settlement of Matabelelanmd.

Led by Major Alan Wilson, a patrol of some 30+ men were left isolated and surrounded by the Ndebele Impis and fought them off to the last man, eventually all were killed. Their enemies shed "They were men among men".

This film shot was shot on location, with many of the extras being serving Police Officers.

A note on our DVD products: Our DVD's are taken from original 16mm and 8mm films or VHS tapes. They are digitally captured and enhanced with the finished product being better than the original, but they are not full restorations. They remain old footage, at least 40 years old, which have often not been cared for. You are not getting Hollywood quality products! All our DVD products are fully tested before they leave our premises. We will replace any defective item within 30 days. We do ask that the original disc be returned to us first. Our DVD's are on DVD-R media, please make sure that your player is compatible with this format. Thank you.
